Sheila La Rose Jacox, a 17-year-old African American female from Sacramento, California, was one of several victims in a series of murders that occurred between 1986 and 1987. Her body was discovered on April 22, 1987, and she was later buried at Odd Fellows Lawn Cemetery and Mausoleum in Sacramento. Sheila Jacox was among the youngest victims in a case that shocked the Sacramento community and drew national attention due to the disturbing pattern and brutality of the crimes.
