Kippi Jacquelyn Vaught, a 16-year-old girl from Sacramento, California, tragically lost her life on September 11, 1978. On that fateful day, Kippi and her friend, 17-year-old Rhonda Lee Martin Scheffler, disappeared from the parking lot of a Sacramento shopping mall.
