Mildred Anne Hill Jackson, a 27-year-old Caucasian woman, was tragically murdered on January 11, 1959. She, along with her husband Carroll V. Jackson Jr. and their two daughters, Susan Anne and Janet, disappeared after their vehicle was forced off the road in Virginia while returning home from a family visit.
