James L. Sires, a 59-year-old male, was murdered on August 10, 1970, in Beaufort County, South Carolina. Sires, who worked as a service station operator, was one of the victims of William 'Junior' Pierce, a serial killer who terrorized multiple states during 1970 and 1971.
