Death by Force

On May 19, 2023, 38-year-old Willie DeWayne Dublin, a resident of Johnston, South Carolina, was fatally shot in the 200 block of Walker Street, a neighborhood situated between Calhoun and Lee streets in downtown Johnston. Following the incident, Dublin was transported to Edgefield County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:38 p.m. An autopsy conducted in Newberry, South Carolina, confirmed that the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest.
