Anna Marie Patterson, a 27-year-old white female from Findlay, Ohio, was found beaten to death along Interstate 71 in February 1987. Patterson had been arrested for criminal trespassing at a truck stop in Austintown on February 7, 1987. During her arrest, she informed a police officer that she had some information regarding a series of murders involving prostitutes who frequented truck stops in the Youngstown area.
