Carmen Lorraine Colon, a 22-year-old female, was found deceased on August 13, 1978, along the Carquinez Scenic Highway, a road between Crockett and Port Costa, California. Her nude, decomposing body was discovered by a Highway Patrol officer who was initially investigating reports of a cattle shooting.
