Adam Tadeusz Janus, a 27-year-old Polish-American male, was one of the victims of the infamous 1982 Chicago Tylenol murders. Born on March 7, 1955, in Tarnów, Poland, Adam immigrated to the United States with his family in 1963 and eventually settled in Illinois. He was known for his strong work ethic and had built a stable life as a postal supervisor. He was married to Teresa Madej, and together they raised two children in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
