On December 27, 2024, 29-year-old Hispanic woman Yanela Caridad Delachaoux Castro was fatally shot in Big Spring, Texas. The incident occurred around 1:09 p.m. near the intersection of 16th and Young Street, where officers found her deceased in the roadway.
