On the morning of January 12, 2025, Conroe Police Officers responded to a call regarding a possible suicide at a residence located in the 2900 block of Palominos Way. Upon arrival, officers discovered 36-year-old Vonnie Clay Holcomb, a male, slumped over in the driver’s seat of a 1995 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup truck with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
