On February 2, 2025, 21-year-old Joshua LaFrance was found fatally shot in a motel room located in the Cloverleaf area of East Houston, Texas. Responding to a welfare check around 1:30 p.m., deputies from the Harris County Sheriff's Office discovered the young man deceased on the bed, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
