Geovanni Montague, a 28-year-old African American man and decorated Army veteran who had served in Afghanistan, was found shot to death on February 9, 2025, in northwest Harris County, Houston. His body was discovered early that morning by two individuals driving down Barely Lane near Cypress Creek Parkway.
