On February 12, 2025, law enforcement agencies responded to a shooting incident on Gerry Drive in the Montego Bay subdivision of Hood County, Texas. Upon arrival, officers discovered a gunshot victim, later identified as Billy Sheffield IV, a 20-year-old white male.
