In the spring of 2025, the life of 18-year-old J'Kari M. Perkins, a Black/African American male from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was tragically cut short. On March 29, 2025, Perkins was found fatally shot in the 6600 block of North 54th Street. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner subsequently ruled his death a homicide.
