Devonta Lewis Jr., 4 months old, male, African-American, was found unresponsive just after midnight on December 10, 2015, at an apartment in the 5100 block of East Sahara Avenue near Nellis Boulevard in Las Vegas. Firefighters alerted police around 12:24 a.m., and officers also responded to Sunrise Hospital, where the infant was pronounced dead at 12:34 a.m. The Clark County coroner later determined he died from multiple blunt-force injuries, ruling the death a homicide.
