On December 28, 2024, 23-year-old Hispanic woman Nayeli Guerrero was fatally shot in Greenwood, South Carolina. The incident occurred around 1:40 a.m. on Sumter Street, near downtown Greenwood. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported Guerrero to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The Greenwood County Coroner's Office confirmed her identity and ruled her death a homicide.
