Caleb was born on May 5, 2001, in Bangalore, India, to John and Florence Withington. After his parents' divorce, he moved to Guwahati, India, with his brother Joel and stepmother Naomi, later joined by his sisters Lynn and Faith.
During his time in India, Caleb contributed to building the Home of Hope orphanage, which cared for nearly 100 children. In 2014, he relocated to Akron, Ohio, where he lived with his grandmother, Barbara Runge, and graduated from Firestone High School in 2020. Post-graduation, Caleb pursued a career as an independent contractor, specializing in drywall and flooring installation.
Caleb was known for his compassionate nature, often engaging in deep conversations and offering help to those in need. He was passionate about soccer and music, and his love for others was evident in his daily interactions. His family remembers him as a beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson, and friend who touched countless lives in meaningful ways.
As of now, there have been no public reports of arrests or identification of suspects related to Caleb's death. The Cleveland Division of Police has not released further information regarding the investigation.
