Toni Maree Owensby, a 22-year-old woman from Dayton, Ohio, tragically lost her life in a shooting on New Year's Day, January 1, 2025. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on Dennison Avenue, where police responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 3:21 a.m. Owensby was one of two victims in the shooting, alongside 23-year-old Taronn Pate.
