Dalyn Lee Sheppard, a 23-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life on January 1, 2025. Sheppard was shot on the city's east side, in the 3600 block of Kirkwood Road, just south of East Livingston Avenue. Officers responded to reports of a gunshot victim around 9 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Sheppard suffering from a gunshot wound and immediately provided aid until medics transported him to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
