Subsequent investigations revealed that the shooting occurred during a confrontation involving Taylor, his estranged wife, and her current partner.
According to reports, Taylor had cut off power to the residence and attempted to break in. The 911 call captured the tense moments leading up to the shooting, including sounds of gunfire and the caller stating that Taylor had entered the bedroom before being shot.
