The incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. at the Legacy Crossing Apartments on the 3900 block of Hahns Lane. Responding to reports of gunfire, Greensboro police arrived at the scene and simultaneously learned that two individuals had arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds. succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival, while the other victim, an adult male, was reported to be in stable condition.
The Greensboro Police Department is investigating the case as the city's fifth homicide of 2025. As of now, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly identified.
