On April 21, 2025, 44-year-old white female Tiffany Ann Williams was reported missing from her residence in Granbury, Texas, along with her husband, 42-year-old Black male David Dewayne Walker, and 55-year-old white male Robbie Allen Head, who was reportedly a tenant in their home. A concerned family member, unable to contact Tiffany Ann Williams, discovered the home in disarray with the Ring security doorbell missing and their vehicle still parked outside.
The Parker County Sheriff's Office initiated a missing persons investigation, suspecting foul play due to the home's condition and the victims' sudden disappearance.
On April 24, 2025, the bodies of Tiffany Ann Williams, David Dewayne Walker, and Robbie Allen Head were discovered near a creek along FM 167 in northern Hood County, Texas. All three had sustained gunshot wounds. Investigators determined that the victims had been murdered on April 20, 2025. Evidence, including a bloody fingerprint on the driver's door of the victims' vehicle, led authorities to arrest 27-year-old Trin Lawrence McKnight and 19-year-old Barrett Copeland. Both men were charged with capital murder and are being held in the Parker County Jail on $1 million bonds each.
According to arrest affidavits, McKnight and Copeland planned to rob the victims, believing there were drugs and money in the house. During the robbery, all three victims were shot and killed. The suspects then wrapped the bodies, placed them in the victims' vehicle, and disposed of them near the creek. A third individual, 18-year-old Michael Morris, was later arrested and charged with tampering with physical evidence, abuse of a corpse, and failure to report a felony. Morris allegedly assisted in cleaning the crime scene and disposing of the bodies.
Initially, a fourth man, Dennis Craig Alexander, was arrested in connection with the murders. However, further investigation revealed that McKnight and Copeland had falsely implicated him. Charges against Alexander were dropped, and he was released from custody. The investigation into the triple homicide remains ongoing.
