On January 12, 2025, 38-year-old Markies Turner was fatally shot in Toledo, Ohio. Officers responded to a call of a shooting at approximately 12:56 a.m. in the 3700 block of Hazelhurst Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Turner, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Toledo Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:53 a.m.

The Lucas County Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy on Turner’s body the following day, confirming that his cause of death was mult ...
