Deputies from the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 4300 block of Blue Springs Road at approximately 1:03 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers attempted life-saving measures, but they were ultimately unsuccessful.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

A visitation was scheduled for January 31, 2025, followed by a funeral service on February 1, 2025, at J.W. Turlington in Raeford, North Carolina. His family and friends gathered to honor his memory and pay their respects.
