Rashawn Brinkley, a 31-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on January 20, 2025, in East Cleveland, Ohio. The incident occurred in the 1700 block of Shaw Avenue while Brinkley was seated in a vehicle. According to authorities, he was shot twice in the head, leading to his immediate death at the scene. The tragic event prompted an extensive investigation by the East Cleveland Police Department.
