Jeffrey Tucker was assaulted on October 24, 1994, in East Cleveland, Ohio. The incident took place outside 14305 Shaw Avenue around 10:30 PM. Tucker was found unconscious following the attack, and he was transported to a hospital where he received emergency medical treatment. Unfortunately, he never regained consciousness and remained in the hospital for nearly three years. On April 19, 1997, Tucker passed away due to the injuries he sustained during the assault.
The case remains unsolved, and authorities are still seeking any information that could assist in solving this crime. The East Cleveland Police Department, along with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, is continuing to pursue leads, and they encourage anyone who might have knowledge of the attack to come forward. The Ohio Attorney General’s Office has highlighted this cold case in an effort to bring new visibility to it and to help bring justice to Jeffrey Tucker and closure to his family.
