On the evening of January 25, 2025, Raleigh police responded to reports of a shooting in the 4700 block of Sinclair Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered 43-year-old Aiby Galindez suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Galindez was immediately transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but later succumbed to them.
