Whitney Huston, a 28-year-old woman from Whitsett, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on February 11, 2025, in what authorities have determined to be a murder-suicide. The incident took place at Woodland Heights Apartments in Burlington, North Carolina, where law enforcement officers responded to reports of a shooting in the early afternoon. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of Huston and 37-year-old Dustin Stephenson, both suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.
