On November 19, 2023, at approximately 5:45 p.m., deputies from the Guilford County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence on Donahue Drive in Whitsett, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals, identified as 38-year-old Kimberly Denise Smith and 40-year-old Kevin Michael Smith, both deceased from gunshot wounds.
