On February 27, 2025, 17-year-old White male Brandon Paul Sullivan was fatally shot in Gastonia, North Carolina, during a robbery that escalated into violence. Brandon, a recent graduate of Hunter Huss High School and an employee at LongHorn Steakhouse, was found deceased in a vehicle around 1:30 a.m. Another male victim in the car sustained critical injuries but survived.
