In the fall of 2024, the life of 18-year-old Marquise James Walker was cut short in Rapid City, South Dakota. On the evening of September 30th, a shooting occurred inside an apartment located in the 4000 block of Range Road. When authorities arrived, they discovered three male individuals with gunshot wounds. All three were transported to a local hospital for medical attention. Marquise, a senior at Central High School, succumbed to his injuries the following day, on October 1, 2024.
