In the fall of 2013, the life of a young father was tragically cut short in a case that continues to leave his family searching for answers. On the night of October 27, 2013, 31-year-old Benjamin David Sloan, a male, was discovered in his SUV on a quiet, dead-end street near East Lake Park in Birmingham, Alabama. He had been shot and killed in what investigators believe was a robbery.
