On April 17, 2025, 21-year-old Milton Calleja Saguilan, a Hispanic male, was tragically killed in a shooting at Stafford Place Apartments on Town Square Drive in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Responding officers found him with multiple gunshot wounds around 12:20 a.m. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Later that day, authorities arrested 29-year-old Kelvin Tessio-Durante Jackson in Davidson County.
He was found driving a vehicle stolen from the victim. Jackson has been charged with felony first-degree murder and larceny of a motor vehicle. He is being held without bond at the Forsyth County Detention Center.
Jackson has a criminal history in Forsyth County dating back to 2022, including convictions for domestic violence, larceny, drug possession, and traffic violations. If convicted of the current charges, he could face life in prison.
