On the afternoon of March 28, 2025, a burst of gunfire shattered the daytime calm on a Staten Island street, tragically ending the life of 25-year-old Jesse Pimental. A male resident of the borough, Pimental was struck in the torso by a bullet and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. The incident unfolded as Pimental was leaving a store with friends.
