On April 23, 2025, 22-year-old male Jorden Christion Mason was fatally shot outside the 1st and Goal Sports Bar on University City Boulevard in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 2:50 a.m., and Mason was transported to Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Mason, a graduate of Hopewell High School, was an aspiring rapper with music available online.
