Dennis Andrew Sharkey Jr., a 50-year-old sports reporter from Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on January 10, 2025. Sharkey was shot and killed while driving his car on Interstate 29 in the Northland area of Kansas City. The incident occurred just before 7 p.m. near the 72nd Street exit. Authorities believe the shooting was likely a result of road rage, though investigations remain ongoing.
