In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Greenville, Mississippi, tragedy struck, leaving the community with the first homicide of the new year. On January 5, 2025, at approximately 11 p.m., officers from the Greenville Police Department were called to the 900 block of South Shelby following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered 54-year-old Albert Davis Jr. inside his vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
