In the quiet town of Fenton, Missouri, the life of 75-year-old Karen Pautler came to a tragic end on April 25, 2025. On that Friday afternoon, a family member placed a distressing call to 911, reporting that Karen had been shot by her husband in their home on Frontier Trail. When Jefferson County deputies arrived at the residence around 2:15 p.m., they were met at the door by Karen’s 73-year-old husband, Kenneth Pautler.
