In the midst of a joyous Mardi Gras celebration in Mamou, Louisiana, tragedy struck, claiming the life of 17-year-old Bryson Green. A student at Cecilia High School, Green was the second-youngest of six siblings. On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, during an outdoor Zydeco concert, the festive atmosphere was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Witnesses reported hearing at least ten gunshots ring out, creating chaos and panic among the crowd.
