In the late hours of a Monday night in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the sound of multiple gunshots shattered the calm on Clifton Street. It was shortly before 11:30 p.m. on January 13, 2025, when police responded to the reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered a young man, Angel Nieves, a 21-year-old male from Springfield, lying outside a residence, suffering from several gunshot wounds.
Emergency responders rushed Nieves to Mount Auburn Hospital in an effort to save his life.
