Rachel Renee Wooten, a 23-year-old woman from Highland Township, Michigan, was fatally shot on April 15, 2025. Authorities responded to a residence in the 200 block of Maple shortly after 4 p.m., where they discovered Wooten deceased from a single gunshot wound to the neck. Her fiancé, 21-year-old Michael Devon Webb, was also found at the scene with a non-fatal gunshot wound, which officials believe was caused by the same bullet that killed Wooten.
