In the spring of 2025, a violent act cut short the life of Fredi Lua, a 42-year-old Hispanic man, in Baltimore, Maryland. On the afternoon of March 22, at approximately 4:45 p.m., the sound of gunfire echoed in the 3200 block of Pulaski Highway. When the authorities arrived, they discovered Lua had been fatally shot. The incident marked another life lost to gun violence in the city.
