In the quiet town of Thomasville, Georgia, a life was tragically cut short on December 17, 2024. Edward Payne Hagood, a 25-year-old male, was fatally shot in an incident that unfolded around 11:53 a.m. at 113 Fern Street. The unexpected violence of the act sent ripples of shock and concern through the local community, particularly as the event's proximity to an elementary school prompted a lockdown.
