In the quiet community of Shively, Kentucky, a tragedy unfolded that cut short the life of 18-year-old Mia Lee. On the evening of Monday, February 17, 2025, police responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 2200 block of Crums Lane. Inside one of the apartments, they discovered a grim scene.
Mia, along with two other young individuals, 18-year-old Sabrie Johnson and 19-year-old Simeon Watson, had been fatally shot. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident, which occurred across the street from Butler High School, was quickly classified as a triple homicide.
