On the evening of February 8, 2025, male 17-year-old Parker Airik Bujnak of Belleville was shot while standing outside a vehicle near the intersection of North 59th Street and State Street in East St. Louis.
Emergency responders took the male 17-year-old to Memorial Hospital in Belleville, where he was pronounced dead at 9:30 p.m.
Investigators from the Illinois State Police joined East St. Louis police at the scene as the investigation began that night.
