On the evening of January 11, 2025, 18-year-old Desiah Rose Dalrymple, a white female from Hartwell, Georgia, was found fatally shot in an upstairs bedroom of a residence on Foxtail Drive. Emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene. Initial reports indicated that several individuals were present in the home at the time of the incident, and authorities did not consider the death a suicide.
