Jeremiah Nelson, a 12-year-old African American boy from Saint Petersburg, Florida, tragically lost his life on December 23, 2024, following an accidental shooting. The incident occurred at the James Park Apartments on 3rd Avenue North, where authorities responded to reports of a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, officers discovered the young boy suffering from severe injuries.
