Eddie Lee Embrey Jr., a 25-year-old male, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident that occurred in East Garfield Park, Chicago, on the evening of March 8, 2025. Alongside Eddie Lee Embrey Jr., a woman was also critically injured in the same incident. She sustained gunshot wounds to the head and leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in grave condition.
