On the evening of March 12, 2025, Juwan Dominique Pore-Lumpkin, a 31-year-old Black male from Chicago's Portage Park neighborhood, was found fatally shot in an alley in the 4900 block of West Hubbard Street in the Austin neighborhood. Chicago police officers responded to the scene around 8:40 p.m. and discovered Pore-Lumpkin with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:55 p.m.
