On a tragic day in Lake Station, Indiana, the life of 4-year-old Alayna Jai Payne was cut short in a devastating act of violence. On February 21, 2025, police conducted a welfare check at a mobile home on 9th Avenue, where they discovered a scene of immense sorrow. Inside, Alayna, her two older sisters, 7-year-old Aurorah Tatiana and 6-year-old Ava Denise, and their 27-year-old mother, Briana Payne, were found deceased.
